Dr. Eli Akbari, MD FRCSC is a Facial Plastic Surgeon, board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Akbari completed a five-year surgical residency at UBC, where she served as Chief Resident. She continued her post graduate training by completing a highly sought-after Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Toronto, under the guidance of a world-renowned Facial Plastic Surgeon, and the recipient of the Order of Ontario, Dr. Peter A. Adamson. This American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery accredited Fellowship is one of the few in the world that offers extensive and comprehensive training in cosmetic surgery of the face and the neck. She was awarded the prestigious Kris Conrad Merit Award in Facial Plastic Surgery, for demonstrating commitment to achieving the highest level of expertise in the performance of Facial Plastic Surgery.
